Saturday saw the 22/23 season commence, it was a full day of hockey with our ladies 1s kicking the day off at home against Wigton ladies 2s. They started the day off strong at home winning 3-1 against Wigton 2s ? with our Men’s 1s also at home, having their first game in the North West Men’s Premier League against Formby, unfortunately losing 4-1.

Both Mens 2s and Mens 3s were playing away, Mens 2s against Fylde 1s where they lost 4-1 and Mens 3s against Windermere 2s where they too unfortunately lost 3-1.

It was a mixed start to the season from all teams but a great effort from everyone who played - well played everyone and thanks to all the umpires who officiated this weekend! ?
